KADYN Drainage Pty Ltd is proud to announce that we are now officially certified as a social enterprise with Social Traders, Australia’s leading certifier of social enterprises, recognising businesses that use their operations to drive positive social change.
This certification marks another significant step forward in our ongoing commitment to creating meaningful opportunities and career pathways for young people, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them to access training, apprenticeships and long-term employment opportunities.
KADYN recognises that many young Australians face significant barriers to employment, particularly those from marginalised communities, including Indigenous youth and young people from low socio-economic backgrounds.
Our social enterprise model is focused on breaking down these barriers by providing practical, hands-on training and career development opportunities that empower young people to build fulfilling careers.
“For many young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, finding stable employment can be incredibly challenging,” said KADYN Managing Director, Adam Rose.
“By becoming a certified social enterprise, we’re reinforcing our mission to provide these young individuals with the skills, support and opportunities they need to succeed.
“We’re focused on offering more than just jobs – we’re building long-term career paths that can help transform the lives of young men and women.”
Certification as a social enterprise formally acknowledges KADYN’s ongoing efforts to support marginalised youth by offering them the chance to develop vital skills, gain experience and secure employment in an industry that can offer long-term stability.
With this certification, KADYN will have access to an increased range of opportunities through government and corporate procurement that favour businesses committed to social outcomes.
It will also allow us to expand our programs aimed at reaching more young people, who are struggling to find meaningful employment.
KADYN is committed to growing our support for marginalised youth by increasing the number of apprenticeships and mentorship programs we continue to offer.
We will continue to partner with local community organisations, schools and industry groups to ensure that more young people, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, can access the opportunities they deserve.
Our aim is to equip these young people with the skills and experience necessary to build a successful career, helping them to overcome the challenges they face and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
